On Thursday, February 17, Gilbert Postelle, age 35, is to be executed for a quadruple shooting in Oklahoma County that took place in 2005. He was sentenced to death for the murders of James “Donnie” Swindle, Jr., age 49, and Amy Wright, age 26. For the murders of Terry Smith, age 56, and James Alderson, age 57, he was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Prayers will be offered for Paul Howell, whom Jones was convicted of murdering in 1999, as well as for Jones and the corrections officers taking part in the execution. The vigil will conclude when word is received that the sentence has been carried out.
