MEMORANDUM

I, the Most Rev. David A. Konderla, Bishop of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma, announce today the following priest and deacon assignments. Please pray for these priests and deacons as they begin this important transition in their ministry in a spirit of faithful obedience and with gratitude to the faithful for their continued support.

Fr. Leonard Ahanotu, from Pastor at Holy Cross in Wagoner and St. Vincent de Paul in Coweta, to Pastor at St. Patrick in Sand Springs and Our Lady of the Lake in Mannford, effective July 1, 2025.

Fr. David Carvajal, from Parochial Vicar at St. James and St. John Before the Latin Gate in Bartlesville to Pastor at St. Cecilia in Claremore, effective July 1, 2025.

Fr. Sean Donovan, from Pastor at Sts. Peter and Paul in Tulsa to Pastor at Holy Cross in Wagoner and St. Vincent de Paul in Coweta, effective July 1, 2025.

Fr. Sylvanus Amaobi, from St. Cecilia in Claremore, to be released for full-time military service, effective July 1, 2025.

Fr. Richard Cristler, from Pastor at St. Joseph in Muskogee, to a 6-month Sabbatical.

Fr. Robert Duck, in addition to his other duties, will be the Vicar Forane for the Eastern Vicariate, effective July 1, 2025.

Fr. Robert Dye, will be in residence at St. Augustine in Tulsa to be a full-time Supply Priest, effective July 1, 2025.

Fr. Jon Fincher, in addition to his other duties, will be the Assistant Vocation Director, effective July 1, 2025.

Fr. John Grant, in addition to his other duties, will be the Vicar Forane for the Tulsa North Vicariate, effective July 1, 2025.

Fr. Shane Hewson, in addition to his other duties, will be the Adjunct Judicial Vicar, effective July 1, 2025.

Fr. Samuel Perez, in addition to his other duties, will be the Vicar Forane for the Northern Vicariate, effective July 1, 2025.

Fr. Joe Townsend, in addition to his other duties, will be part-time Chaplain at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, effective July 1, 2025.

Fr. Joshua Votruba, in addition to his other duties, will be the Diocesan Master of Ceremonies and will take additional studies in School Leadership, effective July 1, 2025.

Dcn. Robert Williams, upon ordination on June 27, 2025, will be a priest in residence at Holy Family Cathedral until his return to Rome to complete his studies.

DEACONS

Stephen Dunbar, upon ordination on May 23, 2025, will be the deacon at St. Joseph in Krebs and St. Paul in Eufaula.

Adrian Meneses, upon ordination on May 23, 2025, will be deacon at St. Pius X in Tulsa.
